Please help me pick a nick name!!

Hi, my FIRST name is Sujie or Su Jie, and I'm a male. My friends here in the US have been making fun of my name because it looks like a female's name . So I'm trying to pick a nick name.

If I had to choose between "Suj" and "Jie", from westerners' point of views, which one do you think will make my life easier? Or neither of them?

Jie which I assume is pronounced "Gee" because it is easy to say and easy to remember. Really a nice name! But Sujie is fine too. You are right in that Su does sound more like a woman's name.
