  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I ask all of you to pray for my mental heath and other things, and if you can throw in world peace as well if you can, pray for that as well. I'm serious as I can get when I say that. all I see people fighting each other, Atheists and Christians fighting each other, and the humans race cannot agree on what truth is many of the times. all this division seems unnecessary. are we not supposed to love each other as some of you would say or Jesus said? I no longer believe right now, but I still have some kind of attachment to Christianity, but I would want Jesus to save all, some get saved now and some get saved later after they see the errors of their ways, but that is what I want to be true. anyways, it's hard to believe after reading what I read from a logical and reasonable point of view. I realize I cannot believe things because of what I like to be true though I once believed the literal eternal nature of hell and most would not make it.

Though I highly doubt prayer does something, maybe I'm wrong, I will give it another shot here.

It should not be Peace and Love for some, but Peace and Love For All

Lord, send any help he needs with his mental health and he can have no worries about it. Let there be peace in the world one day soon, that fighting amongst those of different beliefs stops and they can accept one another as they are. Let him have no doubt about religion or you and that with your help, he will see the truth. Send him your love, peace, comfort and strength. I pray for this, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thanks! let us all try to be nice to each other even if someone believes differently. I've seen both Christian and Atheist be mean to each other, and no one is perfect here. we should all play nice as I say to my Mom.
