yes it is a grid of squares like caitlincares says. and you use yarn(they have special yarn for it) which makes the items come out much nicer looking. although I find that other items come out better with just plain yarn.(they have larger squares and smaller squares. ) some squares are so small that embroidery thread is used.jdunlap said:I've done a number of plastic canvas projects. Piece-banners, tree ornaments, ornamental doll-dresses, coasters... Well, it's very versatile. Some people call it tacky, but it can make really nice things in the right hands.
