Don't be silly...our cups were much smaller.
Just remember since they broke the chalice from the palace the pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.I've never understood why some groups use those little cups of grape juice, it seems so terribly wasteful. Do we see massive outbreaks of disease where people share the same chalice?
At mine, the chalice is reserved for the celebrant so that's another way to solve the issue.

Well it is supposed to have the accidental properties of bread. LOL! Not styrofoam.I thought the wafer was supposed to be Jesus' Flesh not bread
The Catholic priest at the university used to have people from the community bake wheat-only unleavened bread for the Eucharist. It was kind of like a pita but there were no pockets. He got in trouble with the bishop, though, and had to start using the paper-thin wafers again.
It was probably more dense and may not have been wheat, but could have been barley or some other grain or a mix of grains possibly couldn't it have been? Perhaps sprouted grain like ezekiel bread? It was most likely not wafer thin.
The Institution of the Eucharist was not a Passover meal.
On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples approached Jesus and said, "Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?"
He said, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The teacher says, "My appointed time draws near; in your house I shall celebrate the Passover with my disciples."'"
The disciples then did as Jesus had ordered, and prepared the Passover.
Matthew 26:17-19
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body."
Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, from now on I shall not drink this fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father."
Matthew 26: 26-30
In the Bible, leaven represents evil things and doctrines. Matt. 13:33; 16:6, 11-12; 1 Cor 5:6-8
In Matt. 13:33, the leaven represents corruption in the kingdom - just as vs 24-30 are about the tares among the wheat - the false believers - and the mustard seed which grows into a tree shows abnormal growth and the birds, like those in vs 4 and 19 are evil, so are the birds roosting in the overgrown mustard seed that has grown into a tree and the leaven is also evil things and teachings that have crept into the kingdom. Those verses all tell about negative conditions in the church.In Matt. 13:33 it represents the spread of the Kingdom of God.
