A movie so terrible that it is destined to be great. Who else is going to see it?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I definitely am not going to see this movie. With all the nudity and violence, I would be shocked to hear any Christian going to see this movie.

I saw it and loved it. When I heard it was coming out I was super psyched. I was a huge piranha fan when I was a kid and watched them on the USA channel. I saw it within days of release and was thrilled. It was a fun experience. The movie gets extremely bloody toward the last 30 minutes. It was all it was hyped up to be - a cheesy horror movie that knows it's a cheesy horror movie and plays it to the letter without coming off too stupid. Also, the beginning with Richard Dreyfuss and the nods to Jaws were great. A buy for me when it is released on DVD, definitely.

Well, the Intro is cool, a Whirlpool stuff. ahem. But the story is not that deep, the ending is great. He was like Jonah being swallowed by a "BIG FISH".
