The Boy Scout thread prompted a few questions for me:

1) I didn't realize WELS has a separate program. Is there somewhere I could get information on The Pioneers?

2) I've never paid attention to differences between the LCMS & WELS. What are the differences?

And don't worry. I'm not thinking about switching, I've just never paid attention to the differences before. I realize the LCMS would rejoice if I left, and WELS would groan at having to accept me, but ... just curious.

It was just a self-deprecating joke.

I'm no one of note, but my impression is that people often don't like the questions I ask. I could ask questions about some of the information given in the links, but ... I dunno ... today I just feel like smiling and getting along.

My pastor would love you. My wife asks some hard hitting questions all the time and he is more glad to help.
