Don't like The Wall, and haven't heard the song. I've been meaning to get some early Pink Floyd, but there's just too much other stuff I want more

The Wall is about as overrated as Led Zeppelin IV, but not quite as overrated as the movie version of The Wall (IMHO). It's not a bad album, but it pales in comparison with their earlier material... "Careful With That Axe" is terrific, especially the version from Pink Floyd at Pompeii-- when Roger starts screaming, for some reason I'm reminded of the cyclops character from the movie Krull...

I recommend a song called "Come In Number 51, You're Time's Up" from the Zabriskie Point soundtrack which is "Careful With That Axe" in a lower key. It's interesting. That live version from Pompeii sounds cool. I'll look into it.

The Wall is my favorite album ever, and I heard the song a long time ago. Maybe I'll download it and listen to it again.

You know, I saw "Floyd Experiment," and I wondered if I had to smoke a lot of acid for your experiments.
