pill and depression

Am having a hard time at the moment all because of birth control
i took the pill for a week and its made me more depressed and suicidal
i decided to stop taking it until i see my dr next week i cant get a sooner appointment with that dr
My husband has notices that am having mood swings and having a go at my husband over nothing all since i started taking the pill

i have to look at another type of pill or use something else but am worried about weight gain
I still have the pill in my system and am still having mood swings
it will take a few days before its gone and i dont know if my husband can deal with me like this for another day never mind a few days

Hello,

Yes birth control does help to some degree along with the women's monthly. I agree there.. But please be careful of clots forming and such, I am recovering from Pulmonary Embolism , my Dr feels it caused the clots in my lungs and leg.. So be advised of what and what brand, there's a lot of lawsuits going on right now with birth control as it is.. I would talk to your Dr about other alternatives if you can. Just my .2 cents here..

What birth control are you taking? I'm taking a birth control and I'm not having any problems. I know everyone is different tho.

my husband has read about it as well and says a lot of women have found that there more depressed on it

Went out to the shops with my husband i felt so bad...i kept crying and felt so lost
i have to go out again today <staff edit>

My husband will be with me there is no way i can cope with the buses on my own when am like this
