When Jesus called the Syrophoeinician woman a dog he wasn't just making that up, he was talking plain and she was no more worse than any of us. But when she didn't argue but made her plea in that context, she was infact accepting the Word and thereby putting all her flaws (sins) on him.
If we hope to also accept the Word we've got no argument or fussing coming. We will accept the Word no matter how it cuts.

That’s a powerful insight. It’s true, her humility in accepting Jesus’ words and still seeking Him is such an example for us. It reminds me how much we need to lay down our pride and excuses when God’s Word challenges us, trusting that even in correction, He is inviting us closer.
