Personal Healing Prayers

This is my testimony about healing prayers for your own body. Well on occasion when I get a headache I will pray in Jesus name for it to go and most of the time it goes. I reject pain relievers and fever reducers and any pill made to make your sickness less most of the time. Instead I turn to prayer and rest. I'll admit sometimes the prayer in Jesus' name does not work. For example when I had one of those 7 day viruses and prayed early on in the virus it did not leave until the period of sickness was over. But sometimes it does work! I encourage you to try to heal your own body by faith in God.

Dwelling on the positive ---right? I agree with "bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor. 10:5). Even in great and much distress we can say as did our Lord: Matthew 26:39 ---"nevertheless, not My will, but Thy will be done".

Not dwelling on the positive, I tend to think about whatever is on my mind. I do filter out the negative thoughts sometimes before speaking. For some reason I didn't see your comment alerted in my Alerts. Sorry for not responding quicker.

Later I remembered my second reply and I wanted to address the mistake I made in my third. I was wrong in the first sentence of my quote. You're right, to get rid of the sickness/disease thought it must be replaced by a nice, wholesome, godly thought.
