  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Dear Inperfected,Jesus told us:"Be ye perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect,"He did not say:"try to be perfect.,"we keep saying this.I am not young anymore, and I found that it is possible, with the help of Jesus. The earlier we start to become as Jesus meant us to be,the more chance we have to succeed.Jesus never promised that it would be easybut it can be done.(With His Help)1)Love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind.2)Love your fellow-men and fellow-women as you love yourself. In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 verses 4-8 Paul describes the love we should have for others, and I know a number of Christian men and women, who have tried, and are still trying to achieve this,it is not easy, but very, very uplifting.Sincere greetings from Emmy,a sister in Christ.

No it is not humanly possible to be perfect, and those that think they are have some serious soul searching to do. We all fall short in someways, I don't even think it is mentally healthy to try to reach total perfection, I think there are those that demand such perfection in themselves, that thay have a hard time dealing with failure, and this can result in a deep depression for them when they fall short on something.

So is it possible to be perfect? Why? Why not?
I feel myself going circular! (lol)
In my beliefs, we are perfectly human, which makes us imperfect because humans are not God. Only God is perfect, and we are perfectly imperfect.
Thanks,
B

Just like we are supposed to be! human=mistakes=learning=human

so in answer to your question, yes, and no, and above you'll find my answer to why!
:preach: , lol
