ok, I am stuck at the end board, at the strange alien land place. there is a final alien dude that you have to fight. he stands in front of a shrine(that looks like a star) and i have no idea how to defeat him. If, by any chance, anyone out there knows what i am talking about, and knows how to defeat the guy, I would like your help. thanks

well i dont mean to advertise, but i would try gamefaqs.com and see if there is a walk through or faq for it. that would probobly be the fastest way, if they actually have a faq/walkthrough for it. I hope this helps.
