In the parable of the Prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) we learn that one son safe is too few and one son lost is too many.
In the parable of the lost coin (Luke 15:8–10) we learn that eleven coins safe is too few, one coin lost is too many.
In the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:4-6) we learn that 99 sheep safe is too few, one sheep lost is too many,
So then when we look at passages like
Matthew 22:14
“For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
And
Matthew 7:14
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it
Are we looking at a percentage or a perspective?
God Bless
