Arise, O Lord! Confront him, subdue him! Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword, from men by your hand, O Lord, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants. Psalms 17:13-14
I find this to be a varied description of the wicked compared to most other places in the scripture. What they enjoy are actually good things that people receive through the common grace of God. But the people of this world are content with just that and they live only for the present. They are occupied with themselves and temporal/earthly/material things to the exclusion of spiritual matters (Philippians 3:19).
In contrast, David's greatest delight was in God, which is far superior to what the wicked enjoyed.
As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness. Psalms 17:15
