  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A Guide For Service Training

Those Christians who want a life in service to people, might well consider wise ways to prepare in life. Beside a "...right spirit" (as David said: Psalm 51:10), it includes practicing the practical ways too. The true "saints of God" might well think of how to serve God as a career when they think of college –beside technical courses, teaching, etc. which are good and also needed.

Beside training in Christian Ministry, Sociology, Psychology, etc., students who are interested in helping people might well consider dual training in Personnel Management as a MAJOR or MINOR course of study in college too. It can prepare one for several paths for a career. It has been observed that all employees in a business need to learn how to succeed in their work by understanding how to meet employer's needs too. This will help the business and please the owner. The Business major in college needs to prepare for other directions in case they do not become a great business owner?? Such a skill as Personnel Management can open up various ways to serve beside the original major course. It teaches how to choose employees for a company, and help company employees learn ways and attitudes to do better and succeed in their employment. Maybe, the counselor can also have opportunity to guide the employee to seek God. Something to think about as one thinks of college for a career!
