Pentax K10D?

I was wondering what you guys thought of this particular camera. It gets pretty high marks on dpreview.com, but the one thing that customers tended to mark it down for was image quality. We're not talking horrible ratings; maybe a 4.5 rating instead of 5. Image quality is one of my main concerns, though, so I'm looking for some other opinions on this camera, and on Pentax in general.

If memory serves me correctly the pentax has an image sensor of 10 mp? If so then unless you are printing larger than A3 then that should be fine, the only other way they could say that the image wasn`t as high standards as others would be if there was a lot of noise at high ISO`s.
If you really want to look at other cameras though then there is always the Canon Eos 30d its a bit more expensive, but it is a very good camera and if you are familiar with SLR`s then a good choice, of course with canon you also get the advantage of a wide range of accessories as well (lenses, flash guns etc).
Or theres the Nikon D80 which although I have not used is supposed to be very good, and of course you get the accessories with Nikon as well.
