CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had a really special bond with that hoodie they have at jadetree.com. I wore it too often over the course of (almost) two years, and now it's riddled with holes and would be generably unwearable if those silly jeans with all the rips in them weren't all the rage.
But, I have to say: not so much of a fan of the louder direction Bazan's been taking these past couple records. Not much of a fan.
Still. I adore the older stuff.

i have achilles heel, and i bought Control the other day.
i'm diggin it. i've heard that his older stuff is good. but from what i've sampled, i think i like his more electric, harder stuff.
oh well, i'll eventually buy It's hard to find a friend... i've heard that's just incredible.

It's Hard To Find A Friend is one of my favorite albums ever.
The Only Reason I Feel Secure is probably my second favorite Pedro release.
And Control and Achilles Heel and the Whole EP are all tied for third.
And Winners Never Quit is my least favorite Pedro release, even though it is good.
I have a mancrush on David Bazan.

I found the Whole ep in Barnes and Noble the other day. I was going to get it, but it was $12.99, and yet it wasn't a full length. B&N is the dev-il.
