More prophesy fulfilled by the church.
Its obvious to me, that even then back in the OT He was speaking directly about the faithful people.
Psa 135:4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
Exd 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth [is] mine:
Tts 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
1Pe 2:9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Pro 15:6 In the house of the righteous [is] much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
2Cr 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
