Pavarotti gravely ill

"Italian media are reporting that opera legend Luciano Pavarotti is seriously ill from his long fight against pancreatic cancer.
Italian news agencies and television said Wednesday the 71-year old tenor had lost consciousness and that his kidneys are failing..."


Very sad. Looks like it won't be too much longer.


My wife and I saw him in concert about 20 years ago. A great thrill, which we'll always remember.

I wonder just how big he was? I mean I always thought he was big.
I remember reading about Jose Carreras how he had leukemia I think, but he recovered.
Yeah it's a shock.
