That's directly contrary to what Yhwh says in His Word.Jesus spoke in parables which are open to interpretation.
Again, that's your opinion. Jesus was often vague. The traditional concepts of heaven, man floating out somewhere leaves a lot to be desired. I think that the concept of an actual place where survivors will be resurrected is perfectly legitimate. Likewise, I think your lack of imagination is indicative of the limitations of Bibliolatry.
Jesus spoke in parables which are open to interpretation.
Jesus presented spiritual truths in parables so that the sincere truth seeker would hear him while pig headed religious people would remain blind as their motive was to attack his every word and attempt to discredit him. It's a lot like you people are trying to do to me here. That's directly contrary to what Yhwh says in His Word.
Jesus spoke in parables so the people would not understand - that's what He told His disciples.
Jesus then told His disciples what the parables meant. (they usually did not understand until He told them; perhaps always) .
He NEVER instructed the disciples to interpret them.
No, I don't, but the theology lawyers of the OT were often perplexed by Jesus. Today the Jews still have very specific, scripture based reasons why they don't belive in Jesus. Most of them are not that difficult because we have the entire Bible. Do you find parables difficult to understand?

Only from what you yourself posted, from what I read you posted yourself and not what other people said,It's a lot like you people are trying to do to me here.
I belive we will be resurrected on a new, beautiful world in heaven, that we will continue to still other worlds as we make our way th the Father. You have no idea what heaven will be and I don't think anyone but you thinks we'll be floating around.
If God gave us the earth, which is beautiful and suits what we need and Jesus said that He is going to prepare a place for us, why on earth would we think we will be floating around?
That's all you can come up with? You and your book? Lol.

I think you take yourself to seriously.Only from what you yourself posted, from what I read you posted yourself and not what other people said,
you discredited yourself long ago with your own voluntary (not replies to someone else) posts content. No one else could have done such a good job.
This is not just you btw. A lot of people visit a forum and post what their particular school that they depend on says. They rely on that school of thought/ etc.... very common - probably most common.
I don't know who "you people" are - that's on you.(your own perception)
A couple people 'here' (on the forum) might be able to help you.
Not likely. But possible. (so far it doesn't look likely is what I mean, but I don't know, maybe it is possible, yes)
That's quite common for people to say about Anabaptists, Mennonites, Amish, and most true disciples of Jesus.I think you take yourself to seriously.

(oh - in truth - it is Yhwh's Word and "Follow Jesus" we take seriously; not ourselves)
See Jesus's Prayer for me in John 17.

Many other Christians disagree with your interpretation that heaven is on earth, but you can pretend that all Christians think the same way.

Not at Christians agree with your supposedly "clear" interpretation of scripture or so called "orthodoxy". Jesus was rejected by the orthodox. The same Christian church would have burned you at the stake for your beliefs in past ages.Never claimed "heaven is on earth".
I claimed that the resurrection of the dead involves earth. I don't pretend that "all Christians" think this way, but it is the orthodox teaching of the Christian Church, it's what Scripture says and what the Church has confessed for two millennia.
The idea of spending eternity in a place called Heaven is, objectively, not the orthodox teaching. It's not what Scripture says and it's not what Christianity has said for the last two millennia.
Individual Christians very often do disagree with the historic teaching of the faith, or simply are ignorant of it; but that's not relevant.
The Creeds are clear, we believe in the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting in the age to come. Scripture is clear about the renewal and restoration of creation, "I saw a new heavens and a new earth" "Behold I make all things new".
The idea of an eternal bodiless existence "out and up there" fits a lot better into Gnostic or Manichean ideas, but has no merit within orthodox Christian eschatology which affirms the resurrection of the body and the redemption of all creation.

I'm not sure how unbiased the theology lawyers were or were not. There were a lot of perks Pharisee's got back then from the govt. rulers because it was easier for the govt. to let the religious people keep the Jews under control. So the Pharisee's were dipping their toes in a few too many bathtubs. They knew the OT doctrine, but did not believe the Messiah would come back as a servant. IMHO, whenever faith/religion and money or politics mix, it is a bad mix.No, I don't, but the theology lawyers of the OT were often perplexed by Jesus. Yes Colter. It's not too late, repent for believing that blasphemous book.

Understood, but it wasn't just a cabal of bad apples that Jesus encountered in his day. The Jews have had 2,000 years to hear what Jesus said as well as consider that Jesus didn't do what the Jews expected of the Jewish Messiah. The ideas that Judaism had of a Messiah were in part erroneous. The problem wasn't Jesus the problem was the expectation.I'm not sure how unbiased the theology lawyers were or were not. The Bible says that man can only serve on master. Money/the world/themselves or God.
Actually, this is accounted for in the Bible. Jesus has not forgotten about His chosen people and it is somewhat about what they expected vs. what they recieved.Understood, but it wasn't just a cabal of bad apples that Jesus encountered in his day.
