A Cleveland Cavaliers fan taunted San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Millswith a racist chant during the team's 110-94 win over the Cavs in Cleveland on Sunday, according to Benyam Kidane of Sporting News.

Quicken Loans Arena microphones picked up the fan's racist remarks.

If there's one import I don't want in this country, it is racist fans. It's good to see they are reviewing the security footage so such fans can't attend games in the future.

I don't mean to make light of this, and "Summer Madness" may take offense, but really. A racist chant at an NBA game?

That just seems silly. Kind of like going to a hockey game and calling out one of the players for being white.

I could see making fun of him for being named "Patty".

I guess by default this is a question or comment as it relates to Jesus Christ....as this is a christian forum. I do not know why we should be surprised that people who do not love Jesus Christ and are not watching, waiting and preparing for His return would be yelling racist comments at another creature who is made in the image and likeness of God. Maybe the fan nor the players are humble and seeking God's glory and not their own. That could be the problem ..Maybe they are of this world and not concerned with spiritual things . Otherwise ..why even be at a game?

I never said it wasn't. My point was that the headline, as is usually the case when dealing with media, strongly implies something that was not quite the truth in order to advance an agenda.

No, it isn't OK to taunt somebody for being Jamaican. Especially if they aren't, which is a whole 'nother layer of stupid.

But when you read the term, "Racist Taunt", what do you assume is being said? And by whom? Yeah, me too.
