Hebrew Calendar.. 30 AD

Now for some verses for this study...

John 19:14 And it was the preparation of the Passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him.

Luke 23:54-56 And that day [of Yeshua's death] was the preparation [day], and the SABBATH drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was layed. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; AND RESTED THE SABBATH DAY ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT.

Establishing common ground..

Yeshua died on the afternoon before the Passover began -- on Nisan 14 which I do not believe any one disputes..

If the year of Yeshua's death had the Passover [first day of the Feast of Unleaven Bread- Sabbath [high Sabbath]] then at the time of Yeshua's death the Passover (1st Day of Unleavened Bread) also fell on the weekly Sabbath -Then the "preparation" day was for BOTH the Passover AND for the weekly Sabbath.

Ok using the Hebrew Calendar...

I found that 30 AD works for the thurday...saturday night [3 days and 3 night calculations] and 33 AD works for the friday.. sunday calculations..

33 AD

There is no other acceptable times between 29-33 AD.

So what year did Yeshua die?

Luke 3:1-2 Now in the FIFTEENTH YEAR OF THE REIGN OF TIBERIUS CAESAR, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judea, Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene, Annas and Caiaphas being high priests, THE WORD OF THE GOD CAME TO JOHN the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Tiberius (Latin: Tiberius Julius Caesar Augustus;[1] 16 November 42 BC – 16 March 37 AD), was Roman Emperor from 14 AD to 37 AD. So using this number 15 years into his reign would put us at 28-29 AD.

It is significant that there were forty years from the death of the Messiah in A.D. 30 till the conquest and overthrow of Jerusalem by the Romans under Titus and Vespasian in 70 A.D. And as far as I know there is no argument regarding the 70 AD date for the overthrow of Jerusalem and the temple.

Yahshua preached the Good News for almost five years. From 30 years of age to just shy of 35 years of age. About 4.5 years.

Following the acceptable year of birth to be 3 BC, Yeshua would start His ministry around His 30th birthday. That would be in the Fall of 27 AD around the time of the Feast of Tabernacles.

The first Passover mentioned during Yeshua's ministry is mentioned at the end of the second chapter of John's gospel. By this Passover Feast, Yeshua was known by reputation as a miracle worker and preacher.

John 2:23-25 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, and needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

This brings us to 28 A.D.

The second Passover of Yeshua's ministry is mentioned several chapters later in the gospel account of John. This would be the Passover of 29 A.D. John declares:

"And the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh" (John 6:4).

The final and third Passover was the Passover of 30 A.D., at which Yeshua was crucified. This is the Passover which culminated the Messiah's ministry, showing that his ministry lasted a period of three years. We read of the events of this Passover, beginning in chapter 11 of the book of John:

John 11:55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before Passover came to Bethany ...

John 13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 19:14 And it was the preparation of the Passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Yeshua's ministry began about the Feast of Tabernacles when He turned 30, in 28 A.D., and ended at the Passover in 30 A.D. with his being killed as our Passover lamb.

Now you're just making up numbers. The most that people believe he preached was 3.5 years, and that from trying to force it to fit their interpretation of prophecy.

It took about 70 weeks from his baptism to the crucifixion. Watch the two videos on this page, about 10 minutes each:

It is generally accepted by most scholars that it was either 4 or 6 BCE, not 3. :)

The Civil Calendars do not match the days of the week of the Hebrew Solar Calendar. The seven day week cycle has remained consistant, but not the days of the week. And that there is where the problem is. It would take an Astronomer and a Mathematician to figure it out.
I have highlighted the part that I would like you to explain in more detail... I can not figure how a seven day week cycle can remain constant but not the days of the week themselves??

Here is an interesting sign.. that maybe the Magi used..

Dr. Ernest L. Martin shows in his book** that the signs in the sky shown in Revelation 12:1-3, occurred on only one day in 3 BC, and they occurred exactly on September 11, 3 BC between 6:15 pm and 7:49 pm. What are these celestial signs?

Revelation 12:1-3 And a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars; and she was with child, and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven; and behold, a great red dragon having seven heds and 10 horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.

The star of Bethelem

No matter how many days in a year, every 7 days is the Sabbath. Although the Romans had a 8 day a week cycle, the Jews and Christian continued to keep the 7th day Sabbath. But not the Sunday Christians. The Civil Calendar has had 10 days subtracted from it, so that, and the number of days of the month; that keeps the holy days in a state of fluxuation. Therefore the Jews never keep the laws of the Holy days according to scriptures. Thus the fulfillment of prophecy.

I see this all the time on Starry Night Backyard. A limb-to-limb conjunction of Venus and Jupiter that the unaided eye cannot resolve. There was no way one could fail to notice it...

For certain Christ was born in the middle of September. But the different calendars would give a different day.

The numbering was changed..[Thursday [Julian] October 4, 1582... Friday [Gregorian] October 15, 1582].. but not the seven day cycle. That doesn't change the Days of the Lord's feasts because they are tied to the lunar cycle... so I don't know how you get the Jews never keep the laws of the Holy Days according to scriptures from this..

Deciding whether the Sanhedrin calculations, the Essene calculations, or any Rabbi's.. is not keeping the laws of the Lord's feasts is another matter. Yeshua had to deal with it in His day, and we can use His fulfillment of them as the accurate ones.

Let me just say this: The Lunar Calendar, and the Civil Calendar, and the Hebrew Solar Calendar, they do not agree.

We can all agree with that.. They are not suppose to.. they each have different functions. The sacred calendar starts with the Passover and ends at the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles. The Civil calendar takes in the rest of the months not on the Sacred calendar. The Lunar Calendar is for the tracking of the start of the months. The solar calendar is for the weekly Sabbath.

In John 13:27-30, we read:
“As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. 'What you are about to do, do quickly,' Yeshua told him, but no one at the meal understood why Yeshua said this to him. Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Yeshua was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor. As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night."

This would make no sense if it were not the Seder meal. One normally would not go out into the streets to give money to the poor on an ordinary night. However, on Passover night the doors of the Temple were opened at midnight and a crowd of poor people gathered to receive alms. Thus it was a custom to give alms to the poor at night on Passover, but night time alms were in no way customary at other times, meaning Yeshua's direction to Judas would not have been so understood by the apostles if it were given at any time other than Passover evening.

The way the jew's did things apparently.
Civil calender began at night. Appearance of stars, after the sun had gone down.
Feast of unleavened bread Began in the evening until the next. i week long. Therefore an overlap of days occuring between the 14th/15th civil day, and the first festal day.
See Chabad on The "EXTENTION" of the 14th day, as one long day. The night of the civil calender of the fifteeth, was considered to still be the 14th until Morning. In other words if you make a grid with times of Night, morn, eve For a civil day. then make a grid next to that for festal days of unleavened bread, the 14th civil day would be 2/3 rds over, by the time the first festal day begins. This was for seven days.
So while the days of unleavened bread, festal days Were extending civil days, on the 16th day, a new count was beginning in the morning. A liturgical day (temple day) according to the morning and evening sacrifices for 50 days. these days had two offerings each day. One in the morning (first of the day), one (second of the day) in the evening. They were to bring their festal sacrifices following the morning sacrifice, each day.
