1 Corinthians 9:13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live off the things of the temple?
and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?

By this we can discern the meaning of the expression “Priests and Levites”. Any qualified man of the tribe of Levi could minister at the Lord’s Altar in Gifts and Sacrifices. Only sons of the line of Aaron, further refined by Phineas, later Zadok could partake of the Lord’s Table in the Holy Place of the Temple.

The Table Of The Lord
Luke 22:
29
And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father
bestowed one upon Me,

30 that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom…

The table of the Lord in the Sanctuary was the place where
the Lord's bread was laid before Him for the tribes of Israel.

Exodus 25:30 You shall set the showbread on the table before Me always in the Holy Place, outside the veil where the lampstand and
altar of incense were placed.

The place where the Lord's incense was offered was called an altar,
only the place of the showbread is called a table.
All were anointed within the sanctuary.

Exodus 30:
25
And you shall make from these a holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to the art of the perfumer.
It shall be a holy anointing oil.
26
With it you shall anoint the tabernacle of meeting and the ark of the Testimony;
27 the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its utensils,
and the altar of incense.

The place for breaking the bread of fellowship was at the Lord’s Table, among the sons of Aaron in the Holy Place every Sabbath.
Leviticus 24:
8 Every Sabbath
he shall set it in order before the Lord continually,
for the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
9 And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and for it is
most holy to him above the offerings of the Lord
made by fire, by a perpetual statute.

This is the meaning of the term 'purpose of heart'.
Acts 11:23 When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with the purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.

Breaking the bread of fellowship is the place where our hearts are laid out before Him, and where we minister to one another in Spirit and Truth.
This must be holiness unto the Lord.

1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

Without a holy table of the Lord, the fellowship of love among the holy priests defiled their worship.
Malachi 1:12 But you have profaned it, in that you say,
The table of the Lord is polluted;
and the fruit thereof, even his bread is contemptible.

The change in the priesthood brought about a change of the law.
Hebrews 7:
12
For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also
a change of the law.
13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe,
from which no man has officiated at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe
Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek,
there arises another priest
16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment,
but according to the power of an endless life.

The Saints not only minister to one other, but also to the Father's
special people at the table of the Lord.

Luke 14:
13
But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed,
the lame, the blind.

14 And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you;
for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.

15 Now when one of those who sat at the table with Him
heard these things, he said to Him,
Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God!

The sanctuary is very powerful and is symbolic for everything that is needed for salvation.

This in particular:

The place for breaking the bread of fellowship was at the Lord’s Table, among the sons of Aaron in the Holy Place every Sabbath.
Leviticus 24:
8 Every Sabbath
he shall set it in order before the Lord continually,
for the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
9 And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and for it is
most holy to him above the offerings of the Lord

The bread represents the Word of God. In the sanctuary there are 12 pieces of shewbread stacked six each, which represents the 66 books of the bible. It also sits on the side of the north when the devil wants to sit above the throne of God directly over the shewbread that is changed out every Sabbath. Interesting the Sabbath was changed, but not by God just like it was predicted in scripture. Daniel 7:25 Satan wants to exalt himself over God and over the congregation (God's people) on the side of the north Isaiah 14:12-14. In God's covenant, His Testimony, the Ten Commandments which is in the ark of the covenant and in the Most Holy of God's Temple Revelation 11:19, the Sabbath is on the seventh day Exodus 20:10, not the first day. Satan has a counterfeit to everything God has made, and our only defense is the Word of God.

The bread represents the word of God. It has 12 pieces of shewbread stacked by six each which represents the 66 books of the bible.
More importantly, it represents the hearts of man
'laid open before Him' to receive the Law, the engrafted
word that is able to save your soul. James 1:21
This is the meaning of the term 'purpose of heart'.
Acts 11:23 When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with the purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord.

The table of showbread is in the Holy place of God’s Temple which resents the Word of God, the altar of incense represents our prayers that Jesus intercedes on our behalf and the work He is doing in us Hebrews 8:5, the Lamp Stand represents the seven church’s (God’s Church throughout history) which are a light to the World Revelation 1:12 and His Word is a light to our path Psalms 119:105. Everything is the Holy place has to do with our sanctification process. The next compartment, The Most Holy of God’s Temple should be the result of the work Jesus does in us and has the ark of the covenant, which holds God’s Testimony, His Ten Commandments Revelation 11:19 written by His own finger Exodus Exodus 31:18 and His will for His children. The Ten Commandments sits under His Mercy Seat.

And what did the priests, sons of Aaron do there
every Sabbath?
Leviticus 24:9 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

Many times what is literal in the OT is symbolic in the NT. This represents eating up the Word of God , kind of like the little book in Revelation (Daniel) that was ate, it means it is what we live by, God’s Word.

It is not. They BROKE the bread in fellowship. There was
an off going and an on going rotation of priests, as established by David in ordering the services of the Temple.
All the Torah asked of them was to eat bread together
on the Sabbath, but they despised the commandment,
and defiled the Lord's Table.

Malachi 1:12 But you have profaned it, in that you say,

and the fruit thereof, even his bread is contemptible.
Get a revelation. As it was, so it is.
Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
This is HOLY COMMUNION, that initiates the fellowship.
This must be holiness unto the Lord.
1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.
1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

All do respect, you are sharing the SDA interpretation
of the Holy Place, and you have a right to post that
on my thread. Please understand, so far I am unable
to receive this "symbolism" interpretation. This is the
communion of the Saints. OT, sons of Aaron, the NT
brings about a change in the Law, but for the same
purpose, the fellowship of the Elect. Sacraments
are not symbols, they are as real as brain surgery.
Hebrews 7:
12
For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.

Are you insinuating the law that was changed is the Sabbath commandment? The priesthood is the change that is being referred to, Jesus is our High Priest, this is the change in the law.

It’s fine you don’t have to accept the symbolism of the sanctuary, but the sanctuary symbolism is all throughout Revelation and every piece of furniture represents something, its not there for no good reason.

Take care.

Nope. Just quoting the scripture I already quoted
in the OP. YOU are trying to start an argument
and I am going to finish it.
Hebrews 7:
12
For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
Take your agenda elsewhere. No more respect.
The priesthood is the change that is being referred to, Jesus is our High Priest, this is the change in the law.
Yep. I know. If you were paying attention at all, it
also changes who is able to partake at the Table.
That is the OP.
If you did not follow this subforum
with the intent to debate the Sabbath, and instead
had actually read post #1, you would have known that.
I get nothing from our discussions. and would request
that you stay off my threads, or take an illogical
pleasure at being ignored.

Animals were offered as burnt offerings on the altar. It was a large four horned altar. An incense altar was smaller. A priest offering an animal at the altar was allowed to cut off a portion for himself. This was a heave offering.

The Elect partake of the holy things of the Lord's
Table, the bread of Life.
