Parkinson's was created by creationists (according to Hovind)

I was just thinking about many of Hovind's crazy claims, such as the one that Parkinson's is a man made disease by the government for biowarfare. Parkinson's disease was first documented by James Parkinson in 1817. Many years before evolution became the accepted theory of the diversity of life, and thus the creators of Parkinson's Must have been creationists.

I just found this entertaining since many creationist groups use "Hitler was an Evolutionists." or "stalin was an evolutionists." etc. To try and attack evolution. Hovind's poor research abilities come back around the bite him again, as he suggests that we can thank creationists for the biowarfare disease of Parkinson's.

Mr Parkinson describes it but from memory many Parkinson`s symptoms are described as "idio pathic", no known cause.

A quick search found many different alledged causes from Aspartame to long term chain smoking, coal fires in houses. There is also evidence of extra pyramidal side effects of known medicines which cause parkinsonian symptoms often found in anti psychotics which use the dopamine hypothesis in their action.
