what are your opinions on this band?

i really like them. Dimebag Darrell was an incredible and original guitarist. I have Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar Display of Power in my CD collection. Cemetery Gates is one of my favourite songs.

Damageplan were good as well.

Cowboys From Hell was good.

Vulgar Display was probably the best of the band's career.

Far Beyond Driven was basically Vulgar Part II, but it was really good as well.

They are alright. Not the greatest band in the world, but not bad. I always recommend Cowboys From Hell. Great album. There 80's glam albums are great too!

Like Pantera a lot-again a shame for Dimebag. The rest of the band said he went the way he'd have liked to go-playing his guitar.

some good southern metal right there, dimebag was a damn good guitarist, and even though i didn't like his style, we are left with one legendary guitarist less.

Pantera were an amazing band and I was fortunate enough to see them live a few years ago. Shame Dimebag has gone to the big gig in the sky though
