You Gain through Pain & Experiences... Ruth 1-5 Niv.....Unless you have been through it you never understand....Its fellowship not born of age, race, backround or status and it brings together the oddest peoople. When your hurting, don't look for understanding and support from those who haven't walked in your shoes. People can't give you what they don't have, often the best advice they have is glib and annoying. Until you start to make sense of pain and things you gone through for the greater good in it, you can feel like a victim. But once you start to see God's grace at work and his hand in it, you can begin to move ahead, to marry, have a job, dream another dream to live again....When life suddenly changes and your fighting just to get through another day, remind yourself satan hasn't snatched the steering wheel from God.... YOU GAIN THROUGH PAIN AND EXPERIENCES... VICTORY IS BORN OUT OF STRUGGLE

When your hurting, don't look for understanding and support from those who haven't walked in your shoes.

This is something a lot of church members miss, because others tell them they need to speak with a certain leader for counsel. It's important to get input from a variety of sources, especially ones you trust and know will give you sound judgment.

There are times I go to agnostic friends for advice, because I know they have been through an experience and know what resources are available. They can also tell you extra things that the resources don't advertise.

This morning I heard a little bit of Kerry Shook, and he reminded people that our value is not based on the challenge we are going through. We are not failures just because we are going through difficult circumstances.
