I made note of the parallels between intense deep worship and a sexual encounter decades ago. I believe it to be valid.

Those are lame IMO. Too much focus on "me and Jesus" and not enough on only HIM.

ASIDE: I used to play in the Praise Band at my former evangelical church. So, I'm not unfamiliar with some of the themes in modern P&W music.
As I was reading the insert, I almost, for a sentence or three, was ready to skate over to iTunes and sample that "Intimacy" CD, just to hear what it sounded like. It was 'real enough' that the satire was believable, up to a point.

Yup, I missed the word "satire" in the article and took it to be a real album. Lark News, of course. That would explain why a couple of the titles seemed a little excessive.
