Our Unique Designs

God, who made the universe,
Planned ahead who we would be,
Made us with a plan in mind,
Part of which to set us free.

All because of Adam’s fall,
Human nature is to sin.
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God,
Died for us to take us in.

In His death he paid the price,
So from sin we’d be released,
So we’ll die with Him to sin,
Live for Him, so He’ll be pleased.

God not made us all the same.
Made us with unique designs.
Some are tall, and some are short,
All with purpose He defined.

Different talents, different gifts,
Different callings, makes us fit.
Different ages, assignments, too,
So I am me, and you are you.

He called us all be free from sin,
And let the Spirit live within,
Obey our Lord, do what He says,
Submit to Him, be truly His.

Now use our gifts for others’ best,
And in His word we now invest,
We follow Him where’re He leads,
And others’ needs we aim to meet.

All this, all this by God’s design,
Before the world, had us in mind,
That we’d serve Him now with our lives
And now His purpose not deny.
