  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Our Road Map For Life

A Christians life is like that of a person going on a trip. Below I’ll give you three examples of people going on the same trip, to Heaven.

The first person doesn’t know Jesus and has no desire to do so. He wakes-up, eats, showers and gets ready for his trip. He’s gone online and printed out a map from a site he uses. He loads-up the car and off he goes. When he runs into problems along the way he gets upset because things aren’t working out as he planed. The more problems he runs into, the more frustrated he becomes. By the time he gets to Heaven all he can talk about is how hard the trip was. Gods tell him who He is and the man accepts Jesus into his heart. God lets him in Heaven and gives him a room in a large building to live for eternity.

The second person knows about Jesus but doesn’t really practice He’s teachings. Just like the person above he wakes-up, eats, showers and gets ready for his trip. He’s gone online and printed out a map from a site he uses. He loads-up the car and off he goes. When he runs into problems along the way he stops and looks at his map and finds another route to take. When he gets to Heaven he talks about how he over came all his problems and how nice the trip was. God tells him who He is and the man accepts Jesus into his heart saying that he knew about Jesus all along. God lets him in Heaven and gives him three rooms inside the same building.

Now the third person knows about Jesus and Loves the Lord and His teachings. He tries to live his life in such a way to please God. He prays and prepares for his trip. He’s gone online and printed out a map from a site he uses. He loads-up the car, pauses for a prayer of safety and off he goes. When he runs into problems along the way he stops and asks other people for directions. Each time telling them his destination and thanking them for their help. He enjoys the trip and all the wonderful things God shows him along the way. When he gets to Heaven he tells God about the trip and how many people he has asked for directions. Then God shows him how many people he touched along the way and how many people he told about Heaven. God tell him who He is and the man falls down at His feet and prays. God smiles and helps him to his feet. God waves His hand and plays back the mans’ journey to Heaven and the man sees how many people he touched along the way. God smiles and says, “Well done my good and faithful servant. You have reached out and touched many and because of your planting seeds they now know about Heaven too.” God lets him in Heaven and gives him the rest of the building. It is huge and the man doesn’t need it all. When he finds the other men he gives each of them half of what he has been given. God comes back and sees what the third man has done and gives him free reign to roam all over Heaven.

My question to you is, “How do you see your trip to Heaven?”

Prayer: Lord, help us to see that we need you in our every day living. Help us to grow in Your Word and spread the Good News. May the Light You place in us shine through and show others how to live. We don’t know how many people we’ll touch in our life, but You do and to God goes all the Glory. Thank You for this day and everyone I meet.

Amen.
