Our path to God, or God's path to us? If it's our road to God, we may or may not get there; we can fail to find God, but if it's God's road to us he cannot to get to us. That is how you know if a road is really leading to God, it will lead him to you.
Few have looked at it this way. Lets reexamine some of our spiritual paths from the perspective of it being God's path to us instead of our path to God. It forces you to answer certain questions even if you are not aware of the question.
1. Does God want to make himself known? Some people love to solve a mystery. The occultist looks into the most ancient tomes he can find to understand the original truth and how it's been changed. They think God's secrets are found in sorcery and that because of the inevtiable positive and negative dual nature of our universe their answer is the bisexual Baphomet. Like I have explained in the desert island thread God was the original undivided limiless light, Ain Soph Aur, out of which comes the infinity of darkness and the infinity of light. All else but God is cast into darkness, but breathed into it the spirit of God's light. This is why in the gospel of Thomas there are seemingly harsh comments like women have no life, or I will teach her to become male so that she might be a living spirit too. It was a spiritual code for the original light. Those who are sons of God know that God is Love and have a personal relationship with him. Those who see him as merely the source are ignoring his personality and looking at him naked in the same way a woman is made into a sex object.
2. If God does want to make himself known, how would he go about it? This is the second question you need to answer, unless you answered no that is. If I answer it for you, then you won't ask it, but based on some common sense I think it will be obvious.
3. Why would a loving creator punish anyone in Hell? Here you have failed to understand the nature of middle earth. This is middle ground between pure intelligence and pure instinct: between God and beast man is a hybrid. So for a place of paradise to exist a place of torment must also exist. In an infinite universe one would rightly assume that all sorts of places exists. If the choice of wrong is not presented, what meaning would right have? If light did not divide from non-existence nothing would have been created. See the poetic elegance of it. The light goes out into space and becomes matter, life, time, etc, as if space were a womb. That is why God is our eternal heavenly FATHER. Ours is a sad gender confused generation that has lost touch with that perfect balance of elegant truth. Who seeks paradise, who seeks the kingdom of heaven? Who designs the Utopias of our dreams, if we dream of them at all?
4. So for God to save his living sons, they must be of his character. Lets assume for a moment you will be grouped togeter in the spirit world in accordance to what you are and believe, etc. Therefore if you share in his character, his nature, his consciosness, you are as sons. What better way then for God to provide for us a perfect example for us to follow. Well this he did in Christ Jesus, for those who can receive it.
5. Way beyond Reincarnation: Ancients understood the duality of the material and spiritual worlds and knew we could pass back and fourth, but what is not commonly understand is where we incarnate to. Not constantly back here again, but to other places in the universe, eternal ones even. Rumor has it heaven is a congregation in the north regions of our galaxy. At this question we ask would God give us any answers as to where we go beyond the grave or not?
Yes, think of it in reverse, because when you ask how does God get to you, it can actually happen because with God anything is possible. The paths to God are not paths to God, because if were roads connected with him, they would be paths from him to us; and would actually reach us. This is our hope, without it we are as slaves to the powers that be and as dust being blown about in the wind. The control we think we have is an illusion, and no one knows his afterlife, or who they would become in another life. In all things right and wrong is clear, if you understand Duality. The Spirit of Christ is liberty and freedom for the sons of God. The spirit of antichirst says we are gods, but refuses his character. The other religions you would defend won't hesitate to force themselves upon you. A narrow road leads to the freedom, coming under the yoke of mans traditions leads to slavery.
