Abortion, child trafficking and strip clubs and minor aged porn. Not only that but it's tied to Revelation 18-19 for the end times. It's going to take us down. So what do people do ? They vote in the man and party that supports that and call it good ! Society is just as confused now as they were in the first Babylon.

Hey, all. What do you think is our generation's "Tower of Babel"?

Not trusting in the word of GOD

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

I think any kind of large city becomes a kind of tower of Babel. God told people to fill the Earth, which sounds to me like people scattered around the Earth living in small communities, Hunter-gathering groups, family farms.

Instead, the people back then said let's build a monument that reaches up to the sky so that we won't be scattered.

Many ills come from living in cities, people being crammed together, closed off from nature.

What was the purpose of the tower of Babel and of Babylon?
  • A feeble attempt to make man impervious to God's wrath by building a tower to the heavens (to escape another flood, which God promised wouldn't come).
  • To bring the earth's inhabitants together into a one-world governance.
  • Defiance of God.
  • The pursuit of self-interest and sin.
  • The worship of false gods.
  • Reaching the heavens, to be like God.
In all of these, man's pride and desire to be like God, which first manifested in Lucifer.

This generation's "Tower of Babel" will be Mystery Babylon, spoken of in Revelation. A church and state power that will come on the scene and cause most of the earth to receive the mark of the beast.

Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.
The fornication mentioned is false worship.

Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand.
Given the recent seize of power (2020, virus), it's not a far stretch to recognize that enforcement can take place and false worship can be instituted.

Since we're living in the end time, look for these things to happen. A change of power, religious mandates under the guise of <insert excuse relevant to our time>.

I'd say search oneself, and identify in what ways one continues in their insistence that they can go up and ascend to God, as opposed to kneel humbly before the cross of Jesus Christ.

Wherever we set our gaze upward believing we can climb our way: if we just do enough, say enough, think enough, try enough, believe hard enough. But God has always been clear about His way. God's way isn't for men to go up, but for Him to come down.

God always comes down.
