Our Extremity is Gods Oppotunity

Abraham and Sarah were now in their 80s and all hope ive children were gone. The pain of no child to hold in her arms would have been great. Every cry of an infant would be echoed through her barren womb. Why was God being so cruel may be she said in her heart? Why does He hide His face from me? Both of them may well have heard cruel comments such as "God is not with them" or else He would have given them children. While they were reasonably young there was hope but now it had gone. There extremity was not Gods oppotunity, and all the hurt and sadness would be turned into rejoicing. Only one son Isaac would be born but a great nation would commence and there names recordeed through out the bible. Do you feel like that? I do at times. Yes all hope for something you ask for is gone. You feel that there was some hope but now here you are years have gone by and that one prayer isnt answered, even though you may have been promised. Delays are not denials, but it doesnt help much when your lonely does it? It doesnt help when God seems to bless and answer everyone else but you, even though you love Him with all your heart. But there is HOPE for you as for me. Because if you have gvien up hope in your own strength it is now that God can step in and do an even greater work, like He did for Abraham and Sarah.
The deepest deepest desire of your heart is the ONE thing God will TEST you on but wait and remember that it is His deepst delight to give Good gifts to His children. It is always that one DEEP DESIRE & HEARTS LONGING that the Enemy will ATTACK you on. He will say YOU will NEVER GET IT and try and break you heart. Rest in the Lord He is so good and kind. He knows how long just as Abrham and Sarah.
