Greetings,

Since I know there are a few orthodox jews who post here, I want to ask a question I've wondered about for a while.

How do you deal with the sin offering aspect of your faith? That is, I believe it's generally illegal to kill animals for religious purposes in the west, so what has happened to this practice?

Since 70 CE, with the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, all animal sacrifices have been replaced by prayers. Prayers are now the sin offering in Orthodox Judaism.
