I have been a Christian all my life, although I do not worship church. I am also generally very patient and kind, and it takes an awful lot to get me upset. I was raised with the unusual pleasure and fortune of having a brilliant genius of a father with high moral values and a very exceptional ability to understand the Bible far beyond all that is perceptible through ordinary human literary skills. I have also, as a result, however, been 'cursed' all my life with understanding some of the raw, almost inhumane intelligence reserved for the use and equipping of a generation of saints (and prophets) yet to come, which has, for as long as I can remember, been undermined and contradicted by all of the vain theologies of charismatic and televangelical Christian campaigns that have ever come to be. And all the greatest of these today seem to have this Oral Roberts guy to credit most with their beginnings. Most of the biggest cheats in televangelism would not even exist today had it not been for this one idiot to break the ice for them and to prove to them that honesty need have nothing to do with church.
I can certainly speak with sincerity and significance despite who or how anyone will listen on this one matter. And it gives me great pleasure to finally see the day today when I can say this:
Thank God that that sorry, lying, cheating, stealing, son-of-a-b!tch, ORAL ROBERTS is dead. Praise God.
May he stay in hell at least as long as all the damage he has done to the faith remains. And that will be a very, very long time.
