Opinions on my newest idea

I recently got a idea for a book, or books, and I wanted to see what other writers(and those that aren't writers) thought of it. Well, I suppose I otta tell ya what my idea is before you can give me your opinions.

My idea is that I want to write book, or more like a journal, of what has happened to me over the past 3 to 4 years. Everything from dad loosing his job, to the heart breeak of my first break-up, to answered prayers and misacles, to our house burning, and being pulled out of public school to be homeschooled, and everything in between.

Course I can't remember everything that happened every day for the past 4 years, but I intend to make it as real as possable. Or as much like it actually happened as I can.

That sounds cool. I'm usually not a big fan of the journal-type books, but I've found some that I really enjoy (Such as Dear America or Royal Diaries, etc.). Go for it!

Dear America, My America, and My Name is America are the only journals I've found I liked. I haven't read any of the Royal Diaries, but I'd like to if I get the chance.

Yeah, they're pretty good. I didn't like the Mary Queen of Scots one tho.

The Wolf Star series is a diary-series. They're a little weird and annoying but ok.

I wouldn't recommend them. They're really weird.

Yeah! Oh have you read the My Name Is America book about WW2? Patrick something-or-other I think. It made me cry.

No, the only MY Name is America Journal I've read was about the Civil War. It didn't make me cry, but the...oh what was it...I think it was Dear America: When Will This Cruel War Be Over, that one made me cry.

That's the one about the girl during... oh wait the guy book wasn't WW2, it was Vietnam! But was the book (the girl series book) you were talknig about, was it about the girl who's bro was in the war? No wait, sorry. That one's title has to do with flowers.

So which one is that one?

The girl is at home with her mother taking care of the plantation, her father and brother, and "crush," if you can call it that, have gone off to war. Her mother falls sick, so her aunt and 2 cousins come over to help out. I hope I don't ruin the book.

The Dear America series is so depressing! I cried during every single one I read. I love the Royal Diaries series, but the one on Princess Anastasia was really sad.
