Open Water

Anybody planning on watching this movie? I think it looks good, albeit the thought of being stranded in the middle of the ocean reminds me when my parents took me to see Jaws as a little kid and I didn't want to have anything to do with the beach for several years. Alas... I'm much older now and I absolutely love the beach.

i'm in a pickle with this movie

if it sucks i'll have wasted time and money

if it's good i'm pretty sure i'll be gnawing on something in fear. i love surfing but can't stand being far out in the ocean, even on a boat. go figure

Yeah i do think that this film will do ok. It does look good because it is sumthing different than the same old film stuff. It looks a lot like the filming of the Blair Witch Project, which is the idea and i think that this will add to the realism of it making it more horrific and scary.

In case you weren't aware of it, this is actually based on a true story. There were two american tourists who were abandoned on the great barrier reef. When I saw the previews before hellboy I was kind of skeptical, but then I saw a thing that said it was actually based on the story. So yeah.

Yeh, I've heard of that happining before. Make sure if you go to the reef to dive, you look up the respectable companies that take names. I plan on doing the dive sometime in the near future.

I've been diving on the GBR... it's really beautiful very spectacular
