Has anyone tried to ice raspberry leaf tea? Would chilling it change any of its medicinal effects? I just can't get myself to drink hot beverages right now.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

On another board I'm on, the women often talk of drinking RRL tea iced, especially in the hottest days of summer.

Not yet.
I haven't been able to find in locally, so I will probably have to order it online somewhere. I've decided to wait until I'm out of the first trimester before starting it.

I'm sorry to say your doctor is not telling you the truth. Raspberry leaf tea tones your uterus; it doesn't cause labor. If it caused labor, then half the pg women here would have had miscarriages or premies, myself included.
I didn't actually drink it until last month because I'm a little paranoid. But now that I have 20 days left, I'm not all that concerned. I've heard too many stories about how it helps to have a smoother labor experience.
