I've been visiting 'ReligiousForums.com' for awhile and as a devout non-denominational christian I've been attacked pretty heavily on numerous occassions. Some people are more egotistical on the web than they are in real life. They have to be right. Just realize that if you're honest, people will pick up on that. If you're being a bully then people will pick up on that also. Let their ignorance speak for them. Be strong in the Lord!

Jesus was silent most of the time before His accusers and spoke only for the benefit of others. He didn't try to justify Himself before His antagonizers. We have Him as an example, and if we can answer back in love to another person to their edification, then that is fine. We are not allowed to judge ot repay evil for evil. My Dad always told me that two wrongs never made a right, and He gave me good advice. Sometimes we just have to learn to not answer others, swallow our pride, and repay them with blessing if the opportunity presents itself.

Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Matthew 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

On a lot of forums, newbies are hazed in a way. Depending on how you handle it, it goes away and you are accepted, or it gets worse. I've seen it on several boards. It's all in your reaction. The best is usually to ignore it. In a lot of those situations the last thing the guy at the other end is trying to do is "understand" your point.
