I'm such a doofus. I started this thread like two days ago and already forgot about it

What's the best gift you ever received? My grandmother gave me a necklace that my grandpa gave to her when they went on a trip to the Holy Land. Its a Hebrew symbol (have yet to find out what it means), but I never take it off.

How did you come to hold your moderate/liberal beliefs? Do you share your beliefs with anyone close to you? Who? Actually growing up I was very, very conservative and judgemental (not saying if your conservative that you're judgemental, but I was). I moved out of my house and moved 3,000 miles away to Philadelphia to work as a nanny. I lived with the family and they were non-Christian. During this year, I grew more spiritually ever and became more secure in my faith and realized that I was holding the reins way too tightly. I have learned to be more loving and accepting of people. I believe that Jesus was a liberal and that if He was here today He would not approve of the way that Christians (not all!) treat those with different belifes as them.

I am pretty much alone in my beliefs in my family, they are mostly conservative, except for maybe my brother.

Would you prefer to date a conservative, a moderate, or a liberal guy?

I am open to dating anyone. But I doubt a super conservative guy would be able to deal with the way that I think and believe. But you never know, Im not gonna say no to someone because of their beliefs (they have to be Christian though).

Nope, you can be attracted to whoever you want for all I care.

Blue Like Jazz and Searching for God knows What both by DOnald Miller. And pretty much anything by C.S Lewis

Are you a fan of the LOTR Trilogy movies? I've seen them and I like them, but I'm not gonna dress up like a hobbit or give myself an elvish name, lol

Ever been to a Christian rock concert? If so who? Nope, I've never been to any concert . But Im gonna go to my first March 25th and I'm very excited! They're not a Christian band though.
Are you in school? Yep, Im currently studying English writing and psychology

I would say they're like Alternative Rock
Im really bad about putting music into a specific drama. I just discovered them a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not gonna graduate for a loooong time, lol. I want to get my doctorate in clinical psychology and work with kids with developmental disoders

I go to a community college now. So after two years there I'm hoping to transfer to something like UCLA and finish up the rest of my schooling there. But I don't set plans in stone, God has a way of changing them
