  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Marie isn't getting dropped, she just keeps getting dragged on. You are out of the thread more than in so Marie is just assumed to be following along silently. Anybody can correct me if I'm wrong here. My suggestion is you read the posts that you missed and then put in your two cents.

Yes....I've JUST refound this thread.

Anyways, a dream would seem probable, however what of the events that led from us running and how the Green Knights were chasing us on HORSES.....

I don't know. A dream would explain the silliness (which i found quite intertaining) however it would not explain what we were doing in the meantime. I say keep it. The Green Knights are human and pron to mistakes. It is highly improbable true, but not impossible ....Sir Manfred has his day as all dogs must

And as for the baddies. Why not have them walk by after we all file out of the secret tunnel thingy. That'll take about three hours.

I dunno, now I feel kinda bad with the whole distraction thing. I made a fool of Mega's knights and made mine do stuff he really has no business being able to do. The play by play made me realize how stupid it was, and even if I did try it again, it would be far less grandeurous.

I wouldn't say 'fools', but 'emasculated' and 'uber-wimpified', yes.

I have no idea what is going on... or what we will do with Crazy. Should I assume that the Green Knights simply ignored Manfred and never chased him?

I wouldn't say the episode was stupid, but grandiose? Yes, indeed!
Anyone ever see Cannonball Run? It's an old and pretty obscure movie w/ Burt Reynolds and Dom De Luise with a ton of other stars from the mid-late 70's. They are all in car race across the country.

Anyway, Dom' De Luise's character is this really dopey kind of guy, easily pushed around. But.... he has this alter - ego "Captain Chaos!" Anytime anybody was in trouble, except himself, "he" would show up in a red hood and cape get up, no tights, just the cape and hood and his regular clothes. In this get up he thought he could do anything, and so he could. He beat up a barroom full of truckers and bikers. He thrashed an entire army of mobsters.

Soooo, my point is, after all that explanation let's just say that Manfred's own version of Captain Chaos showed up and kicked some green butt.

As for the Manfred issue. It doesn't matter. What is past is past and we should not change it. I'm certainly not going to go back and reread the whole thing and say "Op! Manfred was being cute again! And he dared to not change it three weeks after the fact!? How darrreee he!" (That "how dare he" is the accent in Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade. )

Anyways. Everyone, don't worry on this particualr issue as it is as WOF said, "mute" "mutt" "muet".....curses.....whatever lol....i'm sorry that me, the thread starter, cannot spell. *sigh*....

Lady Knight, you must stay! Like SS said you do play a vital role even if you don't post often. Although I must admit I'm puzzled about that. Why wouldn't you want to stay and play more often? This is the best rp on the whole site!
