Alright now. As I have just recently discovered this site, and discovered the "RPG" part to it, I was rather dissapointed in what I found. Now most people do not think of an RPG as well a forum. Thats more or less just a Role Play forum. And the term MMORPG is even more misleading. Now this is my first visit ever to this site, I am not the strongest religous person in the world, but religous philosiphy intrigues me, anyways, the first thing I saw on this site was 700+ people online. Rather amazing if you ask me. Now why is this post in the RPG section? Because I am a programmer and well with a site with as much attention as this, a game could prosper soooo well. So what am I proposing? A game, an MMORPG based off this christianrpg.com. Optional whether or not it would be Pay to Play(I am in support of it being free). Now please, if everyone would mind giving their feedback. And more importantly possibly the support of the site and moderators of it. Now a very important thing is this not just being a game with the christian forums name, but a game created in help with the Christian team. Also anyone with any skills that could be of help, go ahead and reply. Major thing we need are people who are skilled in 2D 16 bit graphics(Sprites AKA characters, and tiles) Other skills can be toaght to people who are fast learners, and creative as basically the help part is mainly creating maps, which can be done from within the game itself with the system I use.

Thats definitly an issue. Many people who are very active in RP forums have never played computerized MMORPG's. But naturally, I do not want to replace the christian RPG forums, I want to make this an addition. Not to mention that MMORPG's aren't hard to learn. I picked it up one day, and heck now I'm making them :)

MMORPG is like a community. You have to buy or download the software in order to play it. In some cases, you need to pay regularly as well. Acting as a character of your own choosing, there're things like level up that is common to other games.

and i think it's not pen and paper based.. correct me if i were wrong. This is the only thing i'm not sure with.

Hm ... personally I don't like the idea, but not because of ethical issues or anything. Sounds fine there, as long as you don't have to pay. It is a Christian site, and we should act in a way that is Christ-centered even online, and sapping people's money isn't too nice. My problem with it is that ... well ... RPGs are a bit more relaxed, a completely different style. I don't want to come to my regular ones and find that people are using MMORPG style in them, I like them the way they are. Can you explain in greater detail what *exactly* happens in one?
