  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is different for different people. I've been single fr six years. it is something i put myself into. And dont think i avent looked for the pros and cons because i have. Ive listened to people share their "terrible" experiences. I've seen them weep when they've been dumped. I've heard them tell me it is better being single. yet, even they still seek relationships. Why?

I know i dont need it, but nothing seems to be stopping me.

Because it's natural for humans to love and want to be loved. We are created after God's image, are we not? He loves and wants to be loved by us. It would only make sense that we would feel the same way.

You don't have to stop yourself from getting into a relationship, but don't make your priority trying to find one either.

n a game, you win or you lose. Whether you win or lose ddepends on how you play. Same goes for love, you earn it or you lose it, and whether you earn it or lose it depends on how you "play".
