CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

's I will be out of pocket today. If Legolas has seen things in Galadriel's mirror then Gandalf would definitely know about us... maybe he was instrumental in pulling us all here?? He probably wouldn't tell us but he would give us some clues to think on.... anyway, thought it would be fun to have Gandalf 'observing us' from the corner

Ok, I'm struggling with the plot. Like....*throws hands up* Hehe, I'm keeping to the books, but obviously we need a twist. Any ideas?

If everyone notices we lost a LOT of posts throughout the RPG forums. We will just have to rewrite I assume they were completely lost in the crash. Oh well...so we have to back up and rewrite some of what we already wrote. As to the discussions here, hopefully everyone remembers the notes if not we basically had thought perhaps each of us was brought through the portal to effect some plot point in the book.
EX Eternity helping Boromir make the final decision to be the hero she believes him to be...etc. Jill is instrumental in getting Elrohir, Elledan and the Rangers of the North to assist Aragorn through the Paths of the Dead and on to fight for Minas Tirith. (In the book this was the way it happened, Aragorn was joined by them after Isengard was defeated.)

Captain? We appear to have had a time displacement... Data can you read any anomolies in the space-time continuum??
Our story line apparently warped forward without an explanation of the gap......??? Or did anyone catch that? 
We had Frodo still in Elronds care healing...it was nighttime.....???????????????
I would like to know, are we going to follow the book and/or movie basic plot or are we going to rewrite the basic LOTR story?? The fellowship was NINE walkers for the NINE riders... I would like to clarify the plot direction before we go any further as it seems we are not all writing in the same vein. Thanks,

Legolas and Boromir and everyone is already there...so Frodo would have already been healed....he would just be resting I suppose. And Legolas and Co. arrived in the morning.

Ok, its going to stick to the main plot...the places they go, the battles they fight, who dies, etc. BUT, since our characters are in here, it won't be NINE walkers anymore....it'll be whoever goes with the Fellowship (our characters).
