What do people think of online news. Is it a good thing? Is it just for everyone or just for youner people?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I prefer print media to internet, easier on the eyes and less ads,
Alternatively I get a better variety of news sources via the internet, and living in the middle of nowhere getting hold of even a daily paper is harder than you'd think, so internet does do for my needs most of the time.

Nothing wrong with it, as long as its from a decent source. But nothing about it makes it inheritly better then newpaper, TV, radio, or any other news form.
I don't think its just for younger people, I think you would find people of a wide variety of ages look up online news.

I prefer internet news (from credible sources) because of how quickly we receive it. I don't watch telly so the internet is really my only outlet for the news as I refuse to pay for information in print like that. Not only is it outdated for the most part having been over a day old when you receive it, but it wastes resources.

I get my news soley from the Internet. I don't watch the news on TV and I can't stand the feel of newspapers on my fingers (funny, I know).

I get all of my news from the internet and I think - if it's from a credible source, of course - that it's a great alternative to print media.

I get most of my news from online sources. Newspapers, a few Canadian news networks, BBC and twitter. Lot's of different perspectives and the mix of what different sources find "important" lets you choose for yourself instead of being limited to what one or two newspapers or a local news station thinks you need to know.
