I've posted here once or twice (and once my anxiety goes down, I'll try to talk to everynoe that responded) but would anyone here be willing to play some kind of free MMO with me? I'm trying to find Christian gamer friends, and it's hard, and lately I've been losing hope, to be honest.

I'd say yes but I'm not big on the MMOs. The one I used to play is like chess only with fantasy people. No idea what it's called anymore but if anybody remembers, I'd pick that up with someone.

Try out Perfect World International. It's free and has great graphics unlike other MMO's. It is very similar to WoW, but better IMO because it isn't so "cartoony".

pwi DOT perfectworld DOT com is the URL.

I play on the Dreamweaver Server as an Archer xD. Currently I am a level 77. The Level cap is 105, but after a year and a half of the game being open, no one has reached it yet. Top player level is 102 atm. So, it is better IMO because it is harder for just anyone to reach the high levels and it makes people appreciate the higher levels.

I just started playing Star Trek Online. If you are a fan of Star Trek in general, the game will be a blast. If not, the game has some very cool aspects, but is kind of linear at times. It is a pay per month game of course, but only 15 dollars with the first month free when you sign up.

When it comes to Star Trek Online, I guess it depends on what you compare it to. My only other experience with MMO games has been in the fantasy realm, with games such as Warhammer Online and Lord of the Rings Online. So for space combat sims in the MMO realm I can't really speak about how it stacks up.

But bottom line is I find it fun. I enjoy certain aspects of it, like having to build up not only your starship but your crew as well. Some of the missions are, well, stupid, to be blount about it, but others are great fun. Going through the Guardian of Forever was a hoot, as was fighting the Doomsday Machine.

And I spend more than 15 dollars a month on soda, so I can't complain much about the price.
