Online bullying

It is sad but I have been a product of this alot. Is it cause of my user name, I dunno, but I know that I am here just for peaceful fellowship. I know that some of my responces my sound very stupid but I have only read about 30% of the bible... BUT I am still reading it, my friends. I am also learning about the Theology stuff in my bi-weekly bible study. PLEASE BARE WITH ME. Yes, I am for real...JUST very sensitive I am afraid, TRUST me through theripy I am learning how to deal with it.
Anyway, I am writing this JUST TO SEEK PEACE PLEASE do not attack me!

I am really sorry that you have been scrutinized on this board a lot. To be honest, I have too. I don't think people should be mean to you because of your username. I think God made you sensitive for his purpose. Please do not cry and. take it to heart. I must say its hard not to be hurt because some people on here have been mean to me on here countless times. I would never attack you. The way I feel about it is that some people think they can get away with saying things on here because its not a face to face conversation.
I completely agree with you that I just wanted to come here to have content conversations with everyone

I also been bullied alot, especially by the really strict christians. You remeber that one woman who bullied me? People bully because they can. They think they are better then others when in truth they are no better then the next person. None of what you say sounds stupid, it's actually very truthful stuff. If there were more people like you the world would be a peaceful place. So many people are cruel, we must ignore their cruelness no matter if they are christian. God will truly judge them when they die in the end. I love all your post. You made me see some light into christinanity. I've been told by people on here, my family is going to hell and my dog has no soul. I know what you mean girl! People need alot of kindness in their heart. Jesus was kind and not judgemental so why can't christians be?


btw, reading the bible doesn't make you a better christian. It's your strong relationship with GOD and your love for him and his earth. You seem to have alot of that in your heart. That is all GOD wants, you are a wonderful christian. And I have only read 10% of the bible I find it very confusing, and plus sometimes a little too much. I get alot of my information from spirtiual books for the soul. My favorite one is about how GOD is all love.

I was bullied and when I was bullied, I responded as a bully. I mentioned this in another thread. I have learned to be careful with my zealous behavior. I have learned that a misinformed zeal is a dangerous Christian behavior. I have a lot to learn. A true Christian is zealous but it is also possible to be zealous and not behave like a Christian. If zeal indicates godliness, then Christian virtues should be used. One of the most important virtues is LOVE. To love fellow Christians even though I may not agree with their theology.

Satan have been tempting US to forget the few spiritual essentials and to go wandering off after unimportant things in the message boards. There are many important issues that became so burdensome but not as important as loving God with all of our hearts, minds and souls. We need to look past the multiplicity of issues and find the few that really matter in our spiritual lives.

I am going to try not to get emotional and just focus at heart of the issue. I posted my views and I should stop at that post... don't go further.

The issues about Halloween and Christmas.... each believer is accountable to God how they celebrate. They are not accountable to me or any other Christians. All Christians have to do is express their personal spiritual views.

Yes, I witnessed one rather harsh attack on you and I was appalled. Keep in mind, many people claiming to be Christians are not. And, for the people who are Christians, we do sin still. These attacks are pride and flesh. Nothing puffs up the ol' spiritual ego more than putting somebody else in their place. I know I've run across some bullies online but I find if somebody is attacking me, I try to just respond once if necessary and then let it go. We're online here and people seem to feel that gives them license to be cruel. I just believe you'll know a true brother or sister in Christ because the fruits of the Spirit will be evident online as well as off.

I was bullied from the moment I "set foot" here at CF! I almost left right away actually cuz of it. I did however find a few good people, then more, that made my stay more than worthwhile. I do avoid some sections entirely that seem to be rife with attacks tho. I'm still amazed how people can viciously attack fellow Christians over literally the smallest things. *tsk tsk* I tell myself to have a "thick skin" like I did when I was a journalist, but those here, like TheSensitive1 and several others who just come here for loving fellowship and learning have a tough time dealing with the bullying.

i used to have that problem till i found out that i can just have the whole sig displayed on every post. that is so nice

here is how you can do it. Go to user CP the first thing on the first blue line above. then go to edit options. it is way down on that page. i really like having people's sig come up totally on each post.

I have noticed bullying on threads as well and that is not what I am here for....what little time I have here I want it to be positive, edifying and uplifting, I want to come to CF and read something that makes me think about Jesus, makes me want to be closer to Him, and maybe even encourage someone with a hug, kind word, or prayer....I dont understand why people have to be so mean....it's not right and I'm so sorry that you have had such bad experiences....I almost left CF because I wanted uplifting fellowship but I kept searching and must say I have found Jesus in Deeper Fellowship!!!

I hope and pray that you find positive and uplifting threads to be a part of and disregard the others....there's too much good in Jesus and the real Jesus Lovers WILL NOT BULLY YOU!

God has created you with your sensitivity, to be exactly as you are, for that is how He wants you to be in His plans for your life, sweet sis. He will use your sensitivity for His purpose. People who bully others, are normally persons who have been so very hurt in life and have not been willing to hand it over to God, so that He can heal their hearts and restore their souls. Wow, looks like there's lots of bullying out there! I saw a report on the news this morning that some schools have anti-bullying policies and that they actually help. It's a shame that we adults need something like this for other adults!! But we do...

Whatever measure I use in judging others, it will be used to measure how I am judged. Love is patient and kind. Love is not boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Do not cause a brother or sister with a weaker conscience to stumble. Because of someone's superior knowledge, a weak Christian, for whom Christ died for, will be destroyed. It is better that I do not want to make another Christian stumble. Love my neighbors as myself. I need to be aware of brother/sister in Christ or I will stumble their faith.
