  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

In 5 minutes (ie midnight) it will be our first anniversary - June 15!!!!! :kiss:

Sometimes, it feels like it's been so much longer than one year. Other times, it feels so much shorter.

What a year - the best of my life, so far.

He's got something planned for the evening - once we've stuck out youth group :doh: I don't completely know his plans, but I do know we're having dinner, and I roughly worked out the area that he's taking me to for dinner.
However, I've been told the evening will involve us being both indoors and outdoors. I'm planning on wearing a pretty dress that I've been yearning to wear for ages... despite the fact that it's Winter and completely freezing....

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement...

1 whole year!!!! :swoon:
