One Shining Moment!
The crowds bow at your feet
As you enter the city
You are “Blessed in the name of the Lord”
For you have done so much for me.
How could they have known
That in so short of time
The crowds would turn their back on you
And have you crucified.
God’s plan did not match the crowd’s
Who wanted to crown you their earthly King
Instead, He wanted you on high
With Him, in a heavenly reign.
If you had stayed and disobeyed your Father
You would have had one shining moment of honor
Because you left, you left a mark on the world
So permanent that it will last into eternity.
