CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, I'd thought I'd write a happy little note on how OP is doing, 4kids style. =) Let me begin with some fun half-booty edit jobs. =P
Hooray. Check out luffy's hat. They edited the top of Zoro (now 'Zolo"s) pole so it wouldnt look like a cross. Ta da?
The hat used to say Marine. Changed to 'Navy' which would actually make more sense in America, even though the technique of moving images on clothing is still foreign to us.
And now, for some fun edits they made for all us 7> viewers. =P
There was a gun there....
and suddenly for about 10 seconds, there is a... clamp. In place of the hammer.
Bet you didn't know the navy used supersoakers now?
And apparently pirates use cork guns. >.>
Not to mention all the fun pointless changes they made. Like they edited out parts that were supposed to be funny and weren't against censors at all. At least they havent made any name changes yet. .....Crud, i jinxed it...
Btw, for anybody new to the series, the original theme song was alot better than that.... rap. [Despite giving Usopp a horrendous voice (I will never forgive you!!*shakes fist*), I kinda hoped they would take the series more seriously. They didn't.]
Originally, Kaya threatened to kill herself with Jango's Chakram unless he let the 3 boys go. In the dub, Kaya grabs it and threatens to somehow use it against him while pointing it at her throat. Jango tells her that she's too weak to use the Chakram and that if she signs the will he will show her how to use it. o____o;;;
Sanji now has a New York accent and a lollipop. o__o Strawberry I think.
Only it looks more like a tootsie pop.
AAAANNNNDDDD the real inspiration for me posting this 1/4 season's major edits is this:

Oh geez... just watch this clip of the scene... OH NOES POISION SUCTION CUPS It's so stupid, it's almost funny. Like monty python or somthing. Sad part is, this used to be a very inspiring scene. (they used to be spikes and Luffy would pull them out one by one. And instead of talking about the 'time to stop', he talked about whether or not it was his time to die.)
4kids stopped changing guns to super soakers and now just paints the guns a different color. They also add an unhealthy amount of puns regarding whichever situation comes up. =___= Ex: 'It's a CATASTROPHE!!' during the Kuro arc.
Bleh.

I will never live down Luffy's southern accent. No..no....it's HORRIBLE. His laugh is just...arg....4Kids is the Lucifer of Anime...and all other dubbing stations are it's minions.
