So today is my birthday, and Donald Trump stopped by the house early this morning ... enroute to North Carolina ... to wish me a Happy Birthday! (He can be such a thoughtful and fun guy!) lol
All joking aside, I'm so very grateful for the 70 years God has given to me. I don't know that I ever expected to live this long. But God has been so good and forever faithful!
Not unlike so many of you here, God has saved, healed, and delivered me of many things. And His work in my life continues. It's not so much the 'Catholic way' to 'testify' about the great things that God has done, but it IS the way of this Catholic-hearted gal!
We go thru life ... one day at a time ... often forgetting things that have happened, one day to the next. But birthdays give us the occasion to look back ... to see how God has blessed ... the 'jams' He has gotten us out of, or completely steered us 'clear of' ... and we see there is so much to thank Him for!
No matter what happens this coming week ...
no matter what the election results may be ...
God is still very much in control.
... and He always takes care of His people.
He is a Great God.
